Comrades, let me also remind us again that the struggle for our Unions is the struggle for our life .It is the struggle for our freedom and the welfare of the people of our nation. It is a struggle against evil and the greed and insensitivity of the privileged few. It is a struggle for equity and Justice.

It is a continuous struggle and we must not relent AT ALL because those who benefit from evil, injustice and oppression are NOT relenting. That is why we say and sing ALUTA CONTINUA and rekindle our believe that VICTORIA ACERTA.

The Fifth State Administrative Council (SAC)

The Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) Rivers State Council had a successful Fifth Triennial State Delegates Conference (SDC) on January 31st, 2013 and elected the following as the 5th State Administrative Council.

(2.) Comrade Clement Onyesom – State Vice Chairman
(3.) Comrade Jonas Ogundu Okere – State Secretary
(4.) Comrade Raymond Chibuike Benson -State Asst. Secretary 1
(5.) Comrade Lucy Joseph – State Asst. Secretary 11
(6.) Comrade Dr. Chris Mbata – State Treasurer
(7.) Comrade Onuoha I. Gabriel -State Financial Secretary
(8.) Comrade Abadi Kingdom N – State Auditor
(9.) Comrade Prezi Ayaoge Diï¬€a – State Publicity Secretary
(10.) Comrade Adeku Abigail – State Women Leader

The Sixth State Administrative Council (SAC)

The Sixth State Administrative Council was elected on the 23rd of July, 2016 with the following members:

(3.) Comrade Chima Charles Igwe JP – State Secretary
(4.) Comrade Ebi Agbozu D. – State Asst. Secretary

(6.) Comrade Beatrie Fombo – State Treasurer
(7.) Comrade Alex Amadi – State Financial Secretary
(8.) Comrade Cyril Nzekwe – State Auditor

The Seventh State Administrative Council (SAC)

The Seventh State Administrative Council was elected on the 25th of July, 2019 with the following members:

(3.) Comrade Fortune Obi – State Secretary
(4.) Comrade Prince.Ndukwe – State Assistant Secretary
(5.) Comrade Timi Chike- Secretary Women Commission
(6.) Comrade Beatrice Fombo – State Treasurer
(7.) Comrade John Ogaba – State Financial Secretary
(8.) Comrade Cyril Nzekwe – State Auditor
(9.) Comrade Nyeche Wodike – State Publicity Secretary
(10.) Comrade Oroma Orlumati – State Women Leader
(11.) Comrade Hyginus Chika Onuegbu – Ex-Offcio

However, the demise of Comrade Prince Ndukwe led to Comrade Mayowa Oniye taking over the position of State Assistant Secretary.
